Our newly landscaped entry garden, featuring drought tolerant plants and new walkways welcomes the community and preserves precious water resources. Barlow Respiratory Hospital has published our first Outcomes Book which illustrates the quality of specialized intensive care we provide for chronically critically ill and medically complex patients. We are pioneers in the care of ventilator-dependent patients and have treated and liberated more patients from prolonged mechanical ventilation than any other hospital in the nation. This commitment to expertise and innovation are the foundation of our values of continuous improvement, collaboration, efficiency and respect. Outcomes of care go beyond treatments, timeframes, and survival. For a ventilator-dependent patient, the ability to breathe on their own is the most important outcome for them. Experience a glimpse of the impact such outcomes can have in the “Thank You Barlow” section. Barlow touches each of us in a very personal way. Your generosity supports the outcomes that bring families together for the holidays, to talk and laugh with one another again. We invite you to honor the memory of a loved one or celebrate a milestone with a gift to Barlow Respiratory Hospital.
